The Cairns International Airport is the fifth busiest airport in Australia. Its close proximity to South East Asia makes Cairns the ideal first port-of-call when arriving into Australia.
With its close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, Cairns is a great destination for scuba diving, snorkeling, reef cruises, all types of fishing, rainforest walks, outback "bush" adventures, native bird and wildlife watching and tours of all shapes and sizes. So finding things to do in the area either before or after the Eclipse 2012 is not going to be an issue.
Check back here in the coming months for information on bus services and other transport options for getting to Eclipse 2012!
